Team of the Week
Going against the grain of the usual parameters for what qualifies as Team of the Week, the title this week belongs to the team who scored the second highest of GW15. We finally called him out last week and we at FFY Towers believe this public humiliation sparked this change in form and results so are taking some credit but without further ado please step forward Blackburn Ravers! The mad for it lads took on lifetime nemesis/brother VV Brophy and decimated the poor lad just as he heads off on his Honeymoon. Martinez 9, San Andreas 15, Odegaard 5 and Palmer 8 brought the goods and he even had space for a cheeky 0 for Nketiah. After a run of 7 losses I’m sure this one feels super sweet for our second stay sally.
Match of the Week
Let’s go with Whoopi v TSFC. This game was closer than I thought mostly due to a slight scoring mishap and it really did all come down to the last game of the GW. Wally had Coufal and Kulu v TSFC’s sole player Porro. The game started oh so well for Shaboom with Porro notching an assist but then almost in retaliation for the shit I’ve given Spuds the last few weeks they then decided to blow their feet off conceding 2 goals and playing like dogshit (aside for Porro who delivered many a sweet cross) and whilst I was watching and hoping for a Coufal booking alas it was never to come and Wally kept his remarkable assent to the top of the League in tact.
Player of the Week
GTA 15 San Andreas Pereira is this weeks top boy. A delicious 15 points for Blackburn Ravers gave them a huge shove in the winning direction. A player who has constantly flattered to deceive and always feels he lives off of past hype stepped this week in a big way. He went someway to alleviate the pressure mounting on his manager but Chrish will be hoping he can use this as a wake up call and start to deliver some decent points returns with a bit more consistency.
Chump of the Week
Badiashile. I thought Ed was ITK’ing the fuck out of us with his selection of Benoit but turned out he was just playing him to embarrass him and highlight that even though Chelsea have been toilet again this season he still can’t get a game for them. Real poor man management here from Ed of Clarke.
Dawkins of the Week
Mary An-Buonanotte. I don’t know who the fuck you are and I have no idea how to pronounce your name so my pun probably doesn’t work but it does in my head and it’s a banger. Genuinely looked through the scores twice to see if he played, didn’t see him, scored him 0 and turns out he did play. Who knows. I certainly don’t and I might even google him when he makes his second and then final appearance of the season.
