Team of the Week
I’m going against convention this week because recently it’s just been Lee and Ed flip flopping so even though Ed is the top scorer with 52 he’s not getting it. So it goes to 2nd highest scorer right? Naaaahh, unlucky Wally (51) it’s not you as basically you are a fucking enigma this season and you should just be happy with being 3rd considering you’ve scored about 45 points this season. Our Tip Top Team this week is CBA FC! They scored a whopping 50pts with Stones (10), Son (17) and Barkley (9) scoring the points of worth. Granted they played perennial loser AC Barella but Chris wandered into the realm of big boy scores and to be fair to the lad I don’t think we’ve put enough respect on his name this season. He was 10th pick and currently sits out of the Goober places and even though he's not the safest of safe they deserve some love for being a breath of fresh air this season and showing a low end pick isn’t the end of your season. Picks 2, 4, 5 and 6 all sit below him in the table. Tres bien la grande papi.
Match of the Week
Tight one between one of our games and one of the real life Prem games. Niall and Lee was finely poised going into the last game of the GW with scores at 30-33 and both with a single player to play. Unfortunately for Niall that player was Semenyo, oh yeah, Semeny-fucking-o boys. What a baller. He scored twice, Neto conceded 3 times in about 56 seconds and it ended up a beasting. Brutal. The other game was said Bournemouth v Luton game which was all the madness of this season wrapped up into a single night. 0-3 before HT and 4-3 at FT, lovely stuff.
Player of the Week
As usual this winner this week plays for the Team of the Week. Sonny Son Son dropped 17 big ones for Big Man and his Can’t Be Arsers. Been a while since Son has featured here and probably a while since he’s really done anything fantasy football wise so this is lovely for CBA and finding some form at the back end of the season can only be a massive help in the quest for the Anneech.
