GW34/35 Review

Team of The Week

GW34 – Boooooo. The People’s Prince FC take the crown this week with a 52 v 38 win over TSFC. A scoreline mostly built in defence and mostly by 2 players….Sa 12, Collins 11, Trent 5, Mitoma 6, Bowen 9 and Bruno F 4 did the damage and I’d just like to add fuck Collins. Scoring over 25% of your seasons points against 1 opponent is just cruel.

GW35 – Here’s the thing, it should be Rudi but ToTW only scoring 40pts feels a bit like handing out a participation award rather than someone doing something decent. It really wasn’t a big scoring week at all and most games were quite tight but we’ll give to Rodo for that daring last game comeback.

Match of The Week

GW34 – the non submitting boys really took to the wire but I’ll give it to Mary and Chrish as that finished with  two points separating the teams with Mary collecting the and 3 points.

GW35 – To follow on from TotW Wallen/Rodo is out Match of The Week. Wally was fighting tooth and nail to keep his playoff chances mathematically alive but alas a last match late goal from Eze put paid to that as Rudi stole the victory, sealed Warren’s fate and by proxy confirmed lowly 7th pick TSFC will be joining the big boys in the this years playoffs.

Player of The Week

GW34 – It’s a tie this week between two lads on 15 points. Cunha for TSFC and Tripps for Blackburn Ravers. I’ll narrow it down to Tripps though if push came to shove as he a defender and that is a big old score for a full back.

GW35 – 2 lads a gain but we’re going with KDB mainly as this might be the first decent haul he’s got all season, at least it’s the first time he’s been in contention for player of the week. Shout out to Tielemans who equalled his compatriots score of 11pts.

Chump of The Week

GW34 - This weeks chump is someone who didn’t submit again but actually won their match for the second time but couldn’t pick up the 3 points due to non submissions. I won’t name names Ed knows he messed up.

GW35 – From Hero to Zero….after a big old score this week Dev finds himself barely registering 19 pts, thank god Bowen scored 9 eh? Not the sort of form you want to see heading into the business end of the season although could this just be his squad getting the shit out now as he’s looks for his first ever Championship title in a playoff system where everyone has won at least one title before…..
