Team of the Week
Oh Hai Chrishy. In this rather restricted GW the stage was set for someone other than the top 2 to step up earn the much coveted title of Team of the Week and boy did Blackburn Ravers step up. 28 points this week is quite impressive considering who was playing and in a world where just having one ‘I did something’ point scorer was enough to win you the game Chrish delivered us 2 in Antonio (9) and Fofana (8). Lovely stuff and just at the right time to arrest a run of 3 L’s and help push him out of the Goober spots.
Match of the Week
There was no match of the week in our league, all in all it was a proper shit GW with players scoring more 0’s than actual points but yknow we have to award something occasionally so let’s give it to Fulham v Spuds because lol, at least The Arsenal only lost 2-1 there. Mate.
Player of the Week
Who would have thought Fulham defenders would be the big scorers this week. 2 in double figures is a little silly. Robinson came out on top of this particular battle with a score of 11 for VV Brophy to guarantee him a much needed win in his battle for top 4/top 2/ top spot.
Chump of the Week
A wise man once said ‘It is what it is’ and he could not have been more correct. It is the worst run in FFY herstory. It is utter humiliation. It is defying the odds. It is brutal. It is not letting up. It is almost not even funny any more. It is still funny. It is AC Barella. Dawkins of the Week
I knew this week was coming and I knew there’d be options. Virginia from Ed (where are you pulling these players out from?), Onyedima again from Tiny, Odobert from Big Man and Bell from Rudi were all in the running but Tiny has done it again with Koleosho. I’m starting to think y’all are just making this shit up now. Without looking can anyone (Toby included) tell me who he plays for?
